Cub Scenes Aerial Photography is based in DeWitt, Michigan, just North of the City of Lansing, Michigan. Our aircraft is based at the Abrams Municipal Airport in Grand Ledge, Michigan, and we fly photo missions year around. Our 1939 Piper J-3 Cub is perfect for aerial photography because the "door" is not really a door, but rather a panel which is split into two parts, the bottom half of which remains closed while the upper half of Plexiglass can be raised in flight providing the photographer a wide field of vision and a great photography platform.
